Sarah Hart, one of today’s leading figures in contemporary Catholic music, will present two concerts in the St. Cloud Diocese in July — one in Alexandria and the other in Sauk Rapids.
Hart will be featured in “An Evening with Sarah Hart” from 4 to 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, at St. Mary Parish, 420 Irving St., Alexandria. (Doors open at 3:30 p.m.) A reception will follow in the Great Hall. A free will offering will be taken.
She will present an outdoor concert from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, at Sacred Heart Parish, 2875 10th Ave. N.E., Sauk Rapids. (Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating). Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. with a free will offering dinner of Sloppy Joes at 6 p.m. in the parish hall. And a “love offering” will also be taken for Sarah Hart.
Hart is a Grammy nominee, Broadcast Music Inc. winner, American Library Association Odyssey award winner and Audie Awards nominee. Her music has been recorded by many artists including Amy Grant, Celtic Women, Matt Maher and The Newsboys.
