Sister Annella Guild announces Recollection Day May 31 honoring Benedictine Servant of God Annella Zervas in St. Joseph

The Sister Annella Guild has announced a special Day of Reflection inspired by the life and holiness of Benedictine Servant of God Annella Zervas. All are invited to participate in this day set apart for prayer, reflection and deeper intimacy with the Lord.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12 W. Minnesota St., St. Joseph, Minnesota.

The day will be led by Father Robert Schreiner, STL, Spiritual Director of the Sister Annella Guild. Members of the Guild’s Board of Directors will be present, along with Guild members and friends who will gather in fellowship throughout the day.

“Whether you have long been connected to the Guild or are simply curious to learn more about Sister Annella’s life and cause for canonization, you are most welcome,” the Guild shared in its announcement.

Event Schedule

  • 9:00 AM – Opening Seminar
  • 10:00 AM – Mass with the parish community
  • 11:00 AM – Second Seminar
  • 12:00 PM – Lunch
  • 1:00 PM – Prayers at the grave of Benedictine Servant of God Annella Zervas, led by Patrick Norton
  • 3:00 PM – Final Seminar and Dismissal

The Day of Reflection is open to all. Participants are asked to provide a donation to help cover the cost of the meal. Please include your donation with the registration form and note any food allergies or dietary needs.
