“9 Days for Life” novena

Catholics across the country are invited to take part in the “9 Days for Life” novena Jan. 21-29 for the protection of human life.

The pro-life novena coincides with the annual March for Life that takes place in Washington, D.C., every January.

Catholics “must do all we can to be God’s witnesses of merciful love in the world” and stand up for “the life and dignity of the human person wherever it is threatened or diminished,” said the chairman of the U.S. bishops’ Committee on Pro-Life Activities.
