The Sister Annella Guild announced the opening of the cause for the canonization of Sister Annella, a professed member of Saint Benedict’s Monastery in St. Joseph.

The first gathering is set for 6 p.m. Oct. 5 at Our Lady of Victory in Fergus Falls with Bishop Andrew Cozzens of Crookston. In addition to his presentation, the relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis and St. Manuel Gonzalez Garcia, patrons of the Eucharistic Revival, will be on display there as part of a national tour.

Pope Francis has named Auxiliary Bishop Andrew H. Cozzens of St. Paul and Minneapolis to head the Diocese of Crookston, Minnesota.
