In a speech to leaders of the Council of the Evangelical Church in Germany, a body representing Lutherans, Reformed and United communities, Pope Francis is looking to try and resolve differences on doctrinal and moral questions.

Although great strides have been made through 50 years of ecumenical dialogue, Catholics and Lutherans must continue to work toward becoming a full and visible sign of unity for the world, Pope Francis said.
