The Little Sisters of the Poor, a religious congregation founded in 1839, serves the elderly poor in over 30 countries around the world. Now one of their own needs prayers.
It was the second miracle from an Archdiocesan local which elevated St. Kateri’s canonization by Pope Benedict XVI on Oct. 21, 2012.
For the “Footsteps” pilgrimage, she guided the participants to the former site of St. Thomas Church where the blessed was a pastor for six years until his death in 1890.
