On immigration issue, our silence gives consent

Now it is time for the rest of us — parishioners, homilists and parishes — to support our bishops on this issue and to live out our Catholic social teachings with a new urgency. It is time to let our leaders in Washington know that we do not accept their attack on millions of people seeking only to live a dignified life.

Trump visits Catholic school to show school choice support

USCCB leaders urge Trump to protect religious liberty

Catholic Church leaders in a Feb. 16 statement said they were encouraged that President Donald Trump may be considering an executive order to protect religious freedom and said they would be grateful if he would move forward with the pledge that his administration would “do everything in its power to defend and protect religious liberty.”
