Hundreds of bodies found at former Saskatchewan residential school

The cards also invited them to attend a “Your Path” event with former Minnesota Vikings center Matt Birk as the featured speaker. Father Scott Pogatchnik celebrated a special Mass Father Scott Pogatchnik celebrated a special Mass Dec. 28 at St. Mary’s Cathedral to close the Jubilee Year of Hope. The Holy Year opened at the Vatican Dec. 24, 2024, and will officially close Jan. 6, 2026, the feast of Epiphany. To celebrate the extraordinary year, the diocese’s millennium cross was refurbished to be used in the opening Mass and displayed all year. At the end of the closing Mass, the cross was moved to its permanent place near the tabernacle at St. Mary’s.
