Este verano, espero que todos ustedes puedan disfrutar de unas vacaciones, rompiendo las rutinas, dejando sus teléfonos a un lado por unas horas. Deseo que todos puedan disfrutar de un tiempo libre. Les recomiendo se den la oportunidad de mirar a los ojos a sus seres queridos y simplemente estén presentes el uno para el otro. Tómense el tiempo para comulgar con Dios y con la naturaleza en todo su esplendor. Pasen algún tiempo orando juntos, por simple que la oración sea. Que sea un tiempo para renovarnos espiritual y emocionalmente como familia.

More and more people are telling me that they just can’t take the news anymore. The chronicle of disasters, offenses, tragedies, outrages and impending crises is sapping our spirits.

I used to feel inadequate about our holiday plans. Going to the lake was so prosaic. But I have concluded that there is a kind of equilibrium at work in the matter of vacation choices.
