Sisters Aurora Tovar Rodriguez and Maria Isabel (Isa) Berrones Morales will profess final vows as Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls May 27 during a Mass for invited guests at St. Francis Convent in Little Falls.
Sister Aurora, daughter of Martin Tovar Villanueva and Maria del Roble Rodriguez Reyes, from Mezquite, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, professed first vows with the Franciscan sisters in 2010.
Utilizing her degree in educational psychology, Sister Aurora volunteers with the Diocese of St. Cloud, working with the Hispanic outreach program in the communities of Cold Spring, Long Prairie, Melrose, Morris, Pelican Rapids and Rockville.
Sister Isa, daughter of Pablo Berrones and Bartola Morales, from Gomez Farias, Tamaulipas, Mexico, professed first vows with the Franciscan sisters in 2010.
As a volunteer at Catholic Charities, Sister Isa utilizes her degree in social work and human development to assist Latino families at Bel Clare Estates in Waite Park.
