Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration, Spanish Mass – Long Prairie, St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church

Long Prairie • Spanish Mass celebrated at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church at 12:30 p.m. with Father Omar Guanchez presiding. Mass procession features young children offering flowers to the Virgin Mary. People dressed in native clothing will perform an offeratory dance and a play during Mass and at the fiesta afterwards. Hispanic families will offer fruit and flowers to the Virgin Mary during the offeratory. A fiesta potluck in the parish hall follows Mass.
