Parish Festival – St. Augusta, St. Mary, Help of Christians Parish

St. Augusta • St. Mary, Help of Christians Parish Festival starts with Gussie Gallop (1K race at 8:15 a.m., 5K at 8:45 a.m.) Indoor Mass celebrated at 5 p.m. Beer garden and food stands open at 6 p.m. Firefighters’ water ball fights and human foosball tournament start at 6 p.m. Bountiful Baskets from 6 to 8 p.m. Dance, with music by DiamondBack, is from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Festival continues on Sunday with indoor Masses at 8 and 10 a.m. Chicken dinner served from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in air-conditioned parish center. Bingo, games, inflatables, food and beverages available throughout event. Kevin Lange and the Mississippi Drifters play from noon to 5 p.m.; quilt auction at 2 p.m., kids’ pedal tractor pull at 3 p.m., Bountiful Baskets from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and grand raffle at 5 p.m.
