St. Francis• St. Francis of Assisi Parish Festival begins with Mass with music by LaVerne & The Starlites at 10 a.m. in air-conditioned church. Chicken and ham dinner served indoors and outdoors starting at 11 a.m. Live music all day — LaVerne & The Starlites before the auction and the Backes Brothers afterwards. Event includes food and beverage stands, fried bread, bingo, country store, fancywork, cake walk and games for kids.
