Retreat “Psalms – Prayers of Gritty Honesty” – Little Falls, St. Francis Convent

Little Falls • Franciscan Sisters host retreat titled “Psalms — Prayers of Gritty Honesty,” led by Franciscan Father Chuck Faso, from 9:30 a.m. today through 4 p.m. Jan. 20 at St. Francis Convent. This retreat is an opportunity to explore the history, meaning and vision of the psalms, to find the words to express one’s distress, anger, delight, joy and wonder. Participants will look at the 15 psalms St. Francis wrote, compose their own and will be able to pray the psalms during Mass with greater understanding and joy.
