Virtual “A Heritage Writing Workshop” — St. Joseph, St. Benedict’s Monastery

St. Joseph • Spirituality Center at St. Benedict’s Monastery virtually hosts “Stewarding and Passing on the Gifts of Life: A Heritage Writing Workshop”for three Saturdays starting today from 9 to 11 a.m. Led by Benedictine Sister Mara Faulkner, participants will explore the untold stories of their own lives and the lives of those they love. Workshop attendees will experiment with different ways of putting these experiences into words that will reach across the generations (memoir, poetry, letters, hybrid forms, etc.). Sister Mara will read and respond to their writing and will be available for individual phone or Zoom conferences. Other dates include Nov. 14 and 21. Fee is $90 for the series.
