Block Party — Alexandria, St. Mary Parish

Alexandria • Community Block Party sponsored by St. Mary Parish — from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. — begins with pancake and sausage breakfast served from 8:30 a.m. to noon at St. Mary’s School. Event at Runestone Community Center includes food catered by Corral of Nelson, wine and beer garden, games for all ages, bingo, kids’ carnival, silent auction, country store, Vikings on widescreen TV and entertainment including Live Wire and The Red Letter Band.
