Parish Festival (and All School 100 Year Reunion) – Freeport, Sacred Heart Parish

Freeport • Sacred Heart Parish Festival (and All School 100 Year Reunion) begins with music by The Fabulous Armadillos from 9 p.m. to midnight. Event includes beer garden and food stands. No outside coolers or beverages. In case of rain, event held at Freeport Community Center. $5 cover charge.

Festival continues Saturday with outdoor polka Mass with Bishop Donald Kettler and music by LaVerne & The Starlites at 7:30 p.m. followed by music with Switch from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Event includes food and entertainment for all ages.

Continued on Sunday with parade titled “100 years of Education and Stories” at 10:30 a.m. Roast beef sandwich dinner (in church basement) served at noon. Event includes entertainment by Shockwave Mobile DJ Service, games for all ages and concessions all afternoon, bingo, Doodles the Clown, water wars and dunk tank, inflatable bounce house and bounce slide, launch pad, auction of quilts and other items (1:30 p.m.), grand raffle drawing — including prizes of $1,000, $500, two-night stay at Arrowwood Resort and oak chest with cedar lining and quilt (4 p.m.).
