Randall • St. James Parish August Fest begins with Mass at 10:30 a.m. Gorka’s chicken dinner with sweet corn served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Event includes food and refreshments, beer stand, jumbo ice cream cones, bingo, live music, country store, silent auction, cake walk, games and “table of toys” raffle for kids. Free drawing for religious-themed quilt. Special hunters’ raffle for Whitetail War Chest with Henry .44 magnum rifle. Grand raffle drawing at 4 p.m. — over $12,000 in cash and prizes. (Church is located 10 miles N. of Little Falls on Hwy. 10.)
