As a way to understand why so many have drifted fr As a way to understand why so many have drifted from the Church — and what might, draw them back — Father Erik Lundgren and Kelli Kleinschnitz of the Holy Saints ACC launched a postcard campaign last fall to invite fallen-away or under-practicing Catholics to share their stories through an anonymous survey. Father Scott Pogatchnik celebrated a special Mass Father Scott Pogatchnik celebrated a special Mass Dec. 28 at St. Mary’s Cathedral to close the Jubilee Year of Hope. The Holy Year opened at the Vatican Dec. 24, 2024, and will officially close Jan. 6, 2026, the feast of Epiphany. To celebrate the extraordinary year, the diocese’s millennium cross was refurbished to be used in the opening Mass and displayed all year. At the end of the closing Mass, the cross was moved to its permanent place near the tabernacle at St. Mary’s.
