The Catholic Charities Share the Spirit program matches families in need during the holiday season with individuals, families and organizations who wish to help them by providing gifts and grocery cards.
Families of all sizes are available for “adoption.” Those who adopt a family receive a list of three wants and three needs for each household member. Donors are asked to spend about $70 per family member, which includes $60 for gifts and $10 for a grocery card.
To adopt a Share the Spirit family, visit www.ccstcloud.org/share-the-spirit and complete the online donor form. (Online donations are also accepted through the website.) Participants will receive information about their family via email around Nov. 15. Gift-wrapped items are to be delivered to the Sauk Rapids Government Center by Monday, Dec. 9, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
