Obituary: Benedictine Sister Dorothea Lenz
Benedictine Sister Dorothea (Arleda) Lenz, 92, died July 28 at St. Scholastica Convent, St. Cloud. A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Benedict’s Monastery on Aug. 3 followed by inurnment of her cremated remains in the monastery cemetery.

Benedictine Father Simeon James Thole, 85, died July 19 in the retirement center of St. John’s Abbey, Collegeville. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 25 at St. John’s Abbey and University Church with interment in St. John’s Cemetery following the service.

Pedal Pilgrimage planned for feast of the Assumption
The 10th annual Pedal Pilgrimage, a prayerful 23-mile bike tour starting and ending at the Assumption (Grasshopper) Chapel in Cold Spring, begins at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, the feast of the Assumption.
