Two mainstays in the Diocese of St. Cloud have retired — Father Robert Rolfes as vicar general and Jane Marrin as chancellor.

To celebrate Catholic Sisters Week, March 8-14, the sisters of St. Benedict’s Monastery in St. Joseph have partnered with Laundry Love and the Central MN Catholic Worker in St. Joseph to help local low-income individuals and families afford laundry services.

Ed Crawford turned 100 in December, happy to have served the Church and the Knights for all those years.

Father Matthew Kuhn and Erin Takle, music coordinator from St. Mary Parish in Alexandria, will be among the performers at Carnegie Hall Feb. 19 with ValLimar Jansen and John Angotti in “Voices in the Hall.”

“Seeing their hard work come to fruition, the students now understand the time, effort and creative process that goes into making a real board game.”

Following her mother’s example, Pam McLellan has volunteered for six years in the Foster Grandparent Program at Holy Family School in Sauk Centre.

In late November, Father Jeff Ethen, Deacon Jim Schulzetenberg and his wife, Bonnie, and retired Deacon Bruce Geyer and wife Gail spent a week in El Paso, Texas, where they heard firsthand about newcomers entering the United States from Bishop Mark Seitz of the Diocese of El Paso and other community leaders.
