Beginning Experience weekend set for March 24-26

Beginning Experience of Central MN hosts a weekend program for divorced, widowed, or separated adults March 24-26 at Luther Crest Bible Camp in Alexandria. A nondenominational organization designed to facilitate the grief resolution process for adults, the goal of Beginning Experience is to free people to live and love themselves, others and God.

The weekend program of presentations, personal reflections and small-group sharing is led by former participants trained in the process of small-group facilitation. This ecumenical peer ministry program is spiritual in nature and is open to persons of all faiths.

Participants attending the weekend should be beyond the initial feelings of anger and despair and want to make a new beginning as a single person. The atmosphere is one of camaraderie, healing, peace and acceptance with confidentiality as a key component. Individuals share as little or as much as they choose and no one is pressured to participate.

Accommodations are at Luther Crest Bible Camp with breakfast, lunch and dinner served at the dining hall. All activities are wheelchair accessible. The weekend fee is $190. Limited scholarship funds are available. (Scholarship recipients are asked to volunteer time to limited fundraising activity.)

Another BE weekend is scheduled for October 6-8.
