The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls sponsored a silent walk for peace on Good Friday, April 2. Participants gathered outside the west entrance of St. Francis Convent and walked in a silent procession, stopping to pray at designated places throughout the city, concluding back at the convent.

Participants in the Good Friday Silent Walk for Peace were asked to follow current COVID-19 protocols as they set out for their walk around Little Falls.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this Walk for Peace on Good Friday. A special
thank you to Rick Dietz, Director of the Franciscan Life Center. After a year of shut down, I hear it was a relief to have something in which people could participate!

I’m so glad we continue this tradition of witnessing to our Franciscan values and the needs of God’s poor and our created world. Thank you!
