Friday, September 6

Waite Park • St. Joseph Parish Septemberfest from 4:30 to 8 p.m. features Legendary Fish Fry with hand-breaded fried fish, baked beans, coleslaw, potato rye bread. Beer/wine. Drive-through available. Saturday, September 7

St. Cloud • St. Mary’s Cathedral Block Party outdoor Mass at 4 p.m. in parish parking lot. Food court/beer garden, music (Jazz Dot Combo, DiamondBack), games, inflatables, bingo, silent auction, wine wall, used book sale, quilt raffle. All-cash grand raffle — $4,000 top prize (10 p.m.). Free admission.

Alexandria • Community Block Party sponsored by St. Mary Parish from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pancake/sausage breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon at St. Mary’s School. Gorka’s fried chicken/ham dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Bingo, games, music (Jerry and Joyce Band), Mexican food, beer garden, root beer stand, country store, sportsperson raffle and cash raffle drawing — $2,000 top prize. Onamia • Holy Cross Parish Fall Fun Fest indoor polka Mass (Nathan’s Old Time Band) at 10:30 a.m. followed by homemade baked chicken dinner. Activities — noon to 3 p.m. — Crosier Cantina, games, country store, bakery, silent auction. Cash raffle.

Wadena • St. Ann Parish Family Festival — from 3 to 7 p.m. — bingo, games, barrel train ride, cake walk, produce stand, silent auction. Roast beef/ham dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets ($100) sold for replica of 1965 Shelby “Cobra” built by Father Aaron Kuhn and parishioners of St. Ann’s. Raffle for car at 4 p.m. with Bishop Donald Kettler attending. (Catholic United Financial matching grant event.)

Saturday, September 14

Meire Grove • Harvest Festival begins with Meire Grove Band concert at 2:30 p.m. Outdoor Mass at 4 p.m. on St. John Church grounds. Grilled burgers, brats, salads, refreshments at city hall after Mass. Free will offering. Music (Father Marvin Enneking, Donny Brang, Marcie Welle).

 Brandon • St. Ann Parish Fall Bazaar Mass at 10:30 a.m. Chicken/ham dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Bingo, cake walk, farmers market, silent auction, children’s games. Raffle drawing (2 p.m.).

Brooten • St. Donatus Parish Dinner/Raffle Mass at 10 a.m. at the church. Roasted turkey/ham dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the BBE Elementary School. Takeout available. Raffle drawing — cash and bundled prizes, many worth $200 or more (1:30 p.m.).

Sartell • St. Francis Xavier Parish Frantober Fest children’s 1K Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. followed by 5K/10K Walk/Run at 9 a.m. Mass at 4 p.m. Food booths/activities at 5 p.m. Craft beer/cider, free inflatable games, free face painting and wacky hair, mouse game, ring toss, sports challenge, silent auction, bingo, bake sale, live music.
