Sunday, June 11

Belle Prairie • Holy Family Parish hosts Heritage Festival starting with a 10 a.m. Mass “under the tent” with the Folk Choir. A Corpus Christi procession follows Mass. Jerry and Joyce play spiritual music from 9 to 10 a.m. and old-time music after Mass until 1 p.m. followed by Alan Godage & Sundown from 1 to 5 p.m. Food stands with hamburgers, corndogs, brats, French fries and ice cream. Beer garden. Activities include games for all ages, cake walk, silent auction, hammerschlagen, country store and cash bingo. Raffle drawing (over $12,000 in cash prizes) is at 4 p.m. (Located at 18777 Riverwood Drive, Little Falls.)

Saturday, June 24

Melrose • St. Mary’s Parish polka Mass begins at 4 p.m. at Sauk River Park area. Parade at 6 p.m. Parish raffle drawing — with 18 cash prizes (grand prize of $20,000 and second prize of $5,000) held at approximately 9 p.m. Tickets are $100 each. Only 1,000 chances will be sold. (Must be 18 or older to win. Need not be present to win.) Send name, address, phone number and number of tickets to purchase (including $100 for each) to: St. Mary’s Parish Raffle, 755 Kraft Drive S.E., Melrose, MN 56352. St. Martin • St. Martin Parish Festival starts with 1K/5K walk/run at 10 a.m. All stands open from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Event includes PeeWee Home Run Derby, beanbag tournament, vintage auto show, live music by the St. Martin City Band, The Buck Band and Stone Road, burgers and beer garden, games for all ages and meat raffle all day. Mass celebrated at 5 p.m. (Jubilarians honored.) Quilt auction at 6:30 p.m. Cash raffle drawing at 7:30 p.m. St. Joseph Society ATV raffle at 9 p.m.

Brennyville • St. Elizabeth Parish Festival begins with Mass at 10 a.m. Event includes beer wagon and food stands, fancywork stand, prize bingo, pull tabs, basket raffle, cake walk and activities for kids up to 16 with one-time ticket charge for all day. Quilt auction at 2:30 p.m. Grand raffle at 4:30 p.m. Gun raffle — visit www.sesjpp.org. (Located at Co. Rd. 22 and 125th Ave. N.E., Foley.)

Sobieski • St. Stanislaus Parish Summer Bazaar begins with a Mass at 10 a.m. at the church. Home cooked chicken dinner served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Hamburger and hot dog stand. Homemade pie and ice cream. Polish coffee cakes sale. Event includes beer garden, live music by Cynor Classics, quilt bingo, silent auction, bountiful baskets, cake walk, quilt raffle and games for all ages. All-cash raffle drawing (over $6,000 in prizes) at 3:30 p.m.

St. Anna • Immaculate Conception Church Bazaar begins with 10 a.m. Mass in air-conditioned church. Event includes food court starting at 11 a.m., beer gardens, music by 57 Chevy, silent auction, bingo, pull tabs, paddle wheel and games for kids. Quilt raffle, gun raffle and cash raffle drawings at 5 p.m. (Parish is 5 miles north of Avon.)

St. Augusta • St. Mary Help of Christians Parish Festival begins with indoor Mass at 10 a.m. Chicken dinner served in air-conditioned parish center starting at 10:30 a.m. Outdoor activities from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Event includes food and beverage stands, bingo, bountiful baskets, cake walk, children’s games, inflatables, crafts and fancy work, jewelry stand, ring toss, train rides. Live auction at 3 p.m. Raffle drawing at 5 p.m.

Sunday, July 2

Bowlus • Annual Bowlus Day celebration begins with an outdoor polka Mass at 10 a.m. with music by Joyce and Jerry at St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, weather permitting. Following Mass, the Bowlus Fire & Rescue Department sponsors a day of events with a parade downtown at 11:15 a.m. and activities in the city park, ending with fireworks at 10 p.m. and a street dance from 7 to 11 p.m.

Monday, July 3

St. Joseph • St. Joseph Parish Festival starts with bingo, games and food and refreshments served from 5 to 11 p.m. “Joetown Rocks” — free concert from 6 to 10:15 p.m. — features The Killer Vees and Anderson Daniels. Fireworks at 10:15 p.m. (Festival continues Tuesday.)

Tuesday, July 4

St. Joseph • St. Joseph Parish Festival continues from Monday starting with parade at 10 a.m. Event includes bingo, games for the whole family, food and beverages starting at 11 a.m. Live music from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Quilt auction at 1:30 p.m. Raffle drawing at 3 p.m.

Saturday, July 8

Holdingford • Registration for Tractor Blessing and Tractor Fun Run begins at 9 a.m. at the Holdingford High School parking lot. Tractor blessing at 9:45 a.m. and run at 10 a.m. (Holdingford Daze events start at 10 a.m. City of Holdingford hosts two-day event starting Friday, July 7. For details see holdingforddaze.com.) In connection with Holdingford Daze, All Saints Parish celebrates outdoor Mass at 4 p.m. at the Soldier’s Shrine, across the street from St. Hedwig Church.

Menahga • Assumption of Our Lady Parish sponsors food booth from noon to 9 p.m. in air-conditioned parish hall as part of the Menahga Midsummer Celebration. Event includes Christian Women quilt raffle.

Pearl Lake/Marty • Holy Cross Parish Party takes place under the pavilion behind the school. Food (pork chops, burgers, fries) served from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Event includes beer garden, pull tabs and bean bag tournament. Live music from 6 to 10 p.m. Grand raffle drawing at 8 p.m. Need not be present to win. Tickets: $30/only 650 sold. ($5,000 grand prize.)

Avon • St. Benedict Parish festival starts on church grounds with outdoor polka Mass at 10:30 a.m. with music by the Jerry and Joyce Band. (Bring chairs.) Event includes food and refreshment stands, beer garden, games for all ages, all-day bingo, pull tabs, straw stand, cake walk, meat raffle, quilt raffle, live music by local entertainers and the Better Man Duo from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Sportsman’s raffle. Quilt auction at 2:30 p.m. Grand raffle at 6 p.m. Cash raffle grand prize is $5,000.

Duelm • St. Lawrence Parish Festival stands open at 11 a.m. Event includes live music by Stifle, concessions, bingo, Grandma’s attic, silent auction and games for kids. Raffle drawing at 4 p.m.

Sunday, July 16

Foley • St. John Parish Bazaar begins with indoor Mass at 10 a.m. Food and refreshment stands, booths and games for all ages open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Event includes adult and children’s bingo, silent auction, bake sale, cake walk, Lucky Straw and used book stand. Raffle tickets ($5) — drawing at 4:15 p.m. Grand prize $3,000.

Freeport • Sacred Heart Parish Festival and Parade begins with outdoor polka Mass at 9 a.m., with music by LaVerne & the Starlites. (Bring chairs.) Parade with the theme “Cartoons Through the Years” at 10:30 a.m. Food, beer and pop stands open at 11:30 a.m. Event includes live entertainment by Crystal Breeze and games for all ages. Quilt raffle ($5/chances) and cash grand raffle ($20/chances) drawings at 4 p.m.

Saturday, July 22

Pelican Rapids • St. Leonard of Port Mauritus Parish hosts Pork-in-the-Park with roasted pork, potato salad and chips and pickles from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on church grounds in conjunction with city-wide Art in the Park event.

Sunday, July 23

Hillman • St. Rita Parish Bazaar starts with Mass at 10:30 a.m. Event includes chicken and ham dinner, food and refreshment stands, games for all ages and grand raffle.

Millerville • Our Lady of Seven Dolors Parish hosts the Millerville Bazaar beginning with 10:30 a.m. indoor Mass. Grilled pork chop dinner served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in air-conditioned dining room and outside. (Takeout available.) Event includes entertainment, bingo, silent auction, gaming, kiddie games, beer garden and cash raffle.

Sunday, July 30

Little Falls • Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Bazaar starts with indoor Masses celebrated at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. with polka and gospel music by LaVerne & Friends. Event includes entertainment by Live It Up, Polish food booth with Polish coffee cakes, beer stand, arts and crafts, games for all ages, silent auction, bingo, “Gone Bizarre” raffle and all-cash grand raffle drawing.

Luxemburg • St. Wendelin Parish Festival starts with indoor Mass at 10 a.m. Chicken and ham dinner with dressing and pie served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in air-conditioned indoor dining area or outdoors. Event includes food and refreshments, beer garden, bingo, pull tabs, games for all ages, bake stand, cake spin, inflatables, old-time and country western music. Quilt auction at 3 p.m. Raffle drawing at 5 p.m.
