Carpool karaoke video with priests goes viral

If you haven’t seen these carpooling karaoke priests yet, stop what you’re doing and spend the next 8 minutes absorbing the awesome.

The video features Father Keith Romke (left) and Father Kyle Manno (whose facial expressions are the highlight) jamming out to Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake and Burno Mars – among others – on their way to a Catholic youth summit.

It parodies the Carpool Karaoke videos made popular by “The Late Late Show” with James Corden, who picks up celebrities in his car and films them jamming out to the radio.

In the middle of their jam sesh, the priests pick up the boss man, Bishop David Malloy of the Diocese of Rockford, Ill., who shares his vocation story and how he feels about cats.

The video premiered at the youth summit, making Bishop Malloy an instant celebrity with the teens there. It already has almost 90,000 views on YouTube.
