Catholic Charities acquires Granite City Counseling

Catholic Charities’ Behavioral Health Clinic will become Granite City Counseling, a program of Catholic Charities. Counseling services will continue to be provided at 911 18th St. N., St. Cloud, as well as through telehealth.

As a result of this change, Catholic Charities will be able to better serve the mental health needs of the community. With more than 14 years of experience providing counseling services, Granite City Counseling has earned a solid reputation in the community. A change in the name of the Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Clinic to Granite City Counseling better describes the services it provides. Additionally, the name change will be more welcoming to everyone in the community.

“Granite City Counseling is a well-respected mental health practice in Central Minnesota especially among referring providers,” said Deacon Steve Pareja, executive director of Catholic Charities. “Their values align perfectly with ours making the integration of the two clinics into a combined practice with the option of virtual telehealth visits a benefit for clients throughout the Diocese of St. Cloud.”
