Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud announces the resignation of Stephen Pareja, who has been the executive director since November 2016. His final day at the organization will be July 5.
Prior to his role at Catholic Charities, Pareja served in healthcare for over 30 years.
“Serving Catholic Charities’ clients and helping the organization fulfill its mission to serve all people during their time of need has been humbling and an honor,” Pareja said. “I will certainly miss being part of this exceptional organization and I am thankful for the support that donors and stakeholders continue to provide so we can support our community. I look forward to returning to my vocation in healthcare leadership which allows me to continue serving people with care, compassion and hope.”
Catholic Charities’ search committee will immediately begin the process of identifying their next executive director. Renae Sternke, Catholic Charities chief operating officer, will act as interim executive director during this time.
