Children’s eucharistic holy hour set for Oct. 13

Children around the world are invited to pray together at 9 a.m. Central Time on Wednesday, Oct. 13, as part of the 19th Annual Worldwide Children and Youth Eucharistic and Marian Holy Hour.

Prayer intentions for the day will be for priests, life, families, an end to the trafficking of children, an end to the pandemic, the conversion of sinners, and the hastening of the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, according to a news release from Children of the Eucharist, an educational and evangelistic program of the International World Apostolate of Fatima.

Parishes, schools and families are encouraged to participate in and promote the prayer event.

The holy hour is the conclusion of a worldwide novena Oct. 5-13 to Our Lady of Fatima, Queen of Peace. EWTN will broadcast the holy hour live to over 150 countries and territories from the Chapel of Our Lady of the Angels, in Irondale, Alabama, the news release said.
