Humanae Vitae Award nominations accepted until April 29

The Diocese of St. Cloud presents the Humanae Vitae Award each year to a person who has strongly supported and promoted natural family planning and the teachings of “Humanae Vitae,” an encyclical written by St. Paul VI in 1968. This teaching explains God’s plan for married love and the transmission of life.

Individuals may be nominated for this award by submitting a descriptive essay (500 words or less) of the nominee’s qualifications. Nominations may be mailed, faxed or emailed and are being accepted until April 29.

The Humanae Vitae Award will be presented July 28 at the Humanae Vitae Mass and Award Presentation at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud.
