Deacon Frank A. Schmainda, 80, of Glenwood, died Friday, May 27, at Autumn Cottages Assisted Living in Alexandria. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Glenwood Friday, June 17, at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Glenwood.

The Eucharist of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 28, at Sacred Heart Chapel, St. Benedict’s Monastery, St. Joseph, with burial of cremated remains in the monastery cemetery.
