Deacon John Wocken’s class recently finished this year’s classroom quilt, his last before he retires at the end of this school year. The quilts he has made over the years with his students will be auctioned to raise funds for student scholarships.

The service included music with a full choir, a rosary, time for silent prayer and adoration and a Litany of the Sacred Heart. People were also invited to write a prayer intention on a slip of paper, which was then placed near the altar during the service.
