‘Listening in Lent’ Weekend Retreat — Collegeville, St. John’s Abbey

Collegeville • A Lenten retreat led by Mary Stommes, editor of “Give Us This Day,” titled “Listening Our Way Through Lent,” begins with dinner at 5:30 p.m. Friday night and concludes after lunch on Sunday (around 1 p.m.) at St. John’s Abbey. Those who attend will reflect on “continuously listening” to God and to everyday life as a rich and fruitful Lenten practice to assist in more easily recognizing the hope and joy of Easter. Attendees are welcome to pray with the monastic community and share in daily Eucharist. The sacrament of reconciliation will be available. The cost is $195 for a single room or $340 for a double room ($170 per person), $380 for a double suite ($190 per person); meals included. For those who wish to commute, the fee is $65 per person, which includes Saturday and Sunday lunches.
