Spanish II and III classes at Cathedral High School in St. Cloud have organized a Mass in Spanish that will be live-streamed at 10:40 a.m. Friday, March 18.

Franciscan Sister Sharon Fitzpatrick, 76, died March 6 at St. Francis Convent, Little Falls. A private burial was held March 8. A virtual Franciscan Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. on March 16. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. Francis Convent.

Archbishop Bernard Hebda spoke to a House committee expressing support for a bill that would allow undocumented immigrants an opportunity to obtain a provisional license after passing a driving exam.

In his letter to pastors, Bishop Kettler also addressed a change in protocols for adoration chapels, and he included a reminder about the importance of wearing masks.

Benedictine Sister Barbara (Irene) Kort, 82, died March 2 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud. A private Eucharist of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Monastery, St. Joseph, on March 8 followed by burial of her cremated remains in the monastery cemetery.
