About 800 people came to the Galen and Karla Stumpf farm in Pierz for the annual Rural Life Celebration Aug. 12.
Bishop Donald Kettler celebrated the Mass, which was followed by lunch, live music and activities, including a display of vintage farm equipment and cars.
The event was sponsored by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud and the Catholic Foundation and supports the Rural Life Fund to help those in need in our rural communities throughout the diocese.
