Podcasts of the stories of women who have had abortions highlight their humanity and offer valuable lessons for those of us who hope to reach women with real alternatives to abortion.

The award, one of the highest honors given by the CMA, was announced July 6, 2022, at the Catholic Media Conference in Portland, Ore.

Hosted by Caitlin Morneau, the organization’s director of restorative justice, the half-hour podcasts break down talks given during Catholic Mobilizing Network’s seminar last fall on restorative justice.

She said the podcast’s topics and perspectives will include “things that people don’t necessarily hear, and they may recognize,” hinting that it’s “something they may want to tune in to.”

The podcasts are available on several platforms and they feature one of the pope’s own Jesuit astronomers speaking with a notable figure in the world of space exploration or science.
