HOLY THURSDAY, APRIL 1

St. Cloud • Morning prayer at 8:30 a.m. and Mass of the Lord’s Supper, celebrated by Bishop Donald Kettler, at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Vigil begins at 8:30 p.m. Night prayer at 10 p.m.

St. Joseph • The Spirituality Center at St. Benedict’s Monastery hosts “The Sacred Triduum,” a virtual retreat starting today and continuing through Holy Saturday, April 3. Facilitated by Benedictine Sister Julie Schleper, from 10 to 11 a.m. each day, participants will walk with Jesus from the table of the Last Supper to the foot of the cross and to the empty tomb through reading of the liturgical mysteries and daily reflections. GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 2

Collegeville • Join the St. John’s monastic community virtually for the Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion at 3 p.m. (Livestreamed and archived at www.saintjohnsabbey.org.)

Little Falls • Join the Franciscan sisters in an in-person silent walk for peace beginning at 9:30 a.m. Participants will gather outside the west entrance at St. Francis Convent and then walk in a silent procession, stopping to pray at designated places throughout the city. Participants can take turns carrying the cross and leading the procession. The walk concludes back at the convent at about 11 a.m. (Social distancing and other coronavirus safety protocols will be followed — masks are encouraged.) St. Cloud • Those who wish to participate in the in-person Outdoor Way of the Cross will gather for prayer in the upper church of St. Mary’s Cathedral at 2:30 p.m. After prayer, the group will proceed to Lake George to walk around the lake, stopping occasionally for reflections. The event, sponsored by Communion and Liberation, concludes at 4 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral. (Current COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.)

Sauk Rapids • A Mass interpreted for the deaf and persons with hearing disabilities is at 12:15 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church. (All Masses livestreamed and archived at https://www.sacredheartsaukrapids.org.)

HOLY SATURDAY, APRIL 3

Collegeville • Join the St. John’s monastic community virtually for evening prayer at 5 p.m. and celebration of the Easter Vigil at 9 p.m. (Livestreamed and archived at www.saintjohnsabbey.org.) 

Little Falls • Join the Franciscan sisters virtually as the celebration of the Easter Vigil begins at 8 p.m. The vigil includes a Service of Light/New Fire, Liturgy of the Word (Old Testament readings and psalms) and a dismissal to the vigil — watching and praying through the night.
